I feel like I should preface this blog post, so I will.
I suffer from medication, I choose to be unmedicated due to a bad experience on one specific SSRI where I felt even more out of touch with my body. Since then I’ve been on a journey to figure out how to control my depression without medication and recognize the signs that I’m slipping & my depression is bubbling up.
Okay, now that we have that out-of-the-way let me explain what I’m thinking. I’m launching this in conjunction with simplifying my book reviews because well, I just found a few things to be too overwhelming and too much for me to manage. Everyone has their own way of spending their free time and I really didn’t wan to offer a lot of my free time to writing things via technology. I’d rather spend more time unplugged as I can.
So, let me tell you what’s in the works.
I want to talk about certain things that I’ve been doing to keep myself happy or rather level throughout day-to-day life. But I also want to touch on things that I do when I notice that I’m not okay and things that I know I need to implement within my life but just haven’t found a way to yet or know how to really make it work logistically.
But I hope that this future series reaches out to people and they can find some strength within their journey to share some helpful tips.
Thanks for reading!
