The 23rd of February

It’s been a while since I’ve written anything significant on here. It’s not that I haven’t been doing things, it’s that I’ve been busy doing things and not all of the things I love or find the need to share. There’s been a lot that has shifted recently for me, and I’ll share what I mean.

My husband, Tyler, has been busy coaching the freshmen(JV2) boys basketball team at Lutheran where he went to high school. That began back in November and between the practice schedule and games, we’ve been a tiny bit ragged. But that’s okay because I can tell he really enjoys it despite the few hiccups he had. So the basketball season has kept us busy. On top of that we’ve also recently begun the house hunt. We’re tired of apartment living and decided last summer that by summer of 2018 we’d want to be living in a house. So we did everything we could to save money for a down payment and get ourselves financially set for this. It has been a bit stressful but it’s worth it.

But about the comment about not wanting to share as much as I used to. It’s not because anything got used against me, it’s that I want to be careful with who knows what and I also want to use my voice more carefully and more concise. I want to work on spending less time on social media and more time with people. I want to spend more time reading & flipping pages than aimlessly scrolling. It’s been something that I’ve been trying to work on a lot over the last year and failed at. But it’s something I really do want to work on. I don’t think you can blame me there. With that being said, I’m off to enjoy my day off from work.
